The First IMC International Mathematic Contests is Held in Singapore

With great help and support from Education Services Office of Singapore Tourism Board and ISS Holding Pte Ltd, the first IMC International Mathematic Contests was held from August 14th to 19TH in Singapore. Ninety Chinese teachers and students went to join the Contests. This activity is composed of three parts: math contests & awarding ceremony, school visiting & communication and tour & sight-seeing.

Our Chinese students were divided into secondary school level and elementary school level and competed face-to-face with Singaporean students respectively. On the red-carpet ceremony after competition, STB Education Services officer, IMC Union Council member and ISS senior manager awarded the excellent students.

During the stay of Singapore, our Chinese students visited DunmanHigh School, NanyangPrimary School, and NanyangTechnologicalUniversity, etc and communicated with students there. In addition, our students visited some famous scenic spots, such as Sentosa, Mont Faber, Jurong BirdPark and high-tech companies like Newater visitor center.
