About IMC International Mathematics Contest

The IMC international mathematics contest union is a cooperative organization ,which is consist of institutions, associations and individuals who are devoted in popularizing the young people’ s mathematics education around the world.

The union organizes the international mathematics contest once a year. So far there has been several sessions which are held in Singapore, and thousands of selected students coming from Singapore, India, Philippines, China and other countries have participated in the contest. The contest was supported by various organizations, including Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore ISS international School, Duman High School (Singapore), Nanyang Elementary School, Youth Education Academy ( French); New Zealand Royal Business College; Education Resources Service Centre(U.S.);World American Cultural Exchanges, Centre for international Educational Exchange of Russian Federation, MTG Philippines, City Montessori School（India）, Mathematics Education Clinic （Indonesia）Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad School，International Mathematics Communication Association of R.O.C.（Chinese Taipei），E Mathematics Olympiad System (Malaysia ), International Mathematics Identification Association(South Korea), PRATABONG ACADEMY(Thailand), China “Hope Cup” national mathematics invitational Contest Beijing Committee, Beijing Science Association and over hundreds schools.

With the developing of recent years, the IMC international mathematics contest union and the IMC international mathematics contest have been recognized from more and more participated countries, and also received highly appreciation by participated schools, teachers and students. The IMC international mathematics contest is different from the international Olympics mathematics competition, however, it is the IMC international mathematics contest’s popularity and interesting theme that attract theyoung people’s participate positively. Although many outstanding students have obtained scholarships from famous schools around the world by winning the prize of our contest and the scores is an important reference to a student’s matriculation to a university, the IMC international mathematics contest’s ultimate purpose remains unchanged, which is to popularize, make-interesting, and internationalize mathematics study.
